Coconut oil helps to provide lots of luxurious lather and is also great for cleansing.

Olive oil helps a bit with cleansing, but also provides wonderful moisturizing properties.

Castor oil is well known as a fabulous ingredient for skin, containing ricinoleic acid and omega-6 fatty acids.

Shea butter is known for anti-inflammatory and moisturising properties in hand made soap.  High concentrations in vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter make it excellent for smoothing, soothing and conditioning for the skin.  It is rich in vitamins A & E as well as essential fatty acids.  Shea butter is non-comedogenic meaning is does not clog pores.

Rosemary offers antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, it helps sooth skin conditions such as acne, eczema and oily skin.  Its anti-inflammatory properties make it a soothing choice for irritated and sensitive skin.  It has a refreshing and herbal scent that promotes relaxation and metal clarity

Bentonite clay is is good for all skin types but is especially beneficial for oily and acne prone skin due to its oil absorbing properties.  It enhances the texture of the soap providing a silky feel.  It also improves the overall shaving experience.

This soap bar takes us back to our roots, where all natural products were / are used on the body, giving our skin more of what it needs naturally rather than those with man made ingredients.

It is generally advised to test any new product to you, on a small area of skin before using it more widely.
